APPLICATIONS
High-Voltage Transmission Cables
Transmission networks carry bulk power across long distances, making them mission-critical to grid stability. Bandweaver’s RTTR/DCR solutions combine DTS thermal data with load information to calculate safe, real-time ratings. This allows operators to maximise utilisation of cables while preventing thermal overload. Complementing this, LHD provides continuous hotspot detection to further safeguard high-value assets. For buried HV cables, PIDs add an extra layer of protection by detecting third-party construction activity — the leading cause of damage — as well as potential malicious interference.


Distribution Networks
